Ian Harland, creator of Harland Vibes, is a San Diego based drummer, percussionist, recording artist, and educator.
He is the drummer for The Good Vibes Band, Mojo Strut, and Electric Warrior. He is also recognized as one of the most in-demand jazz vibraphonists on the West Coast in Anthony Smith's book, Masters of the Vibes.
He performs regularly in San Diego and on the West Coast with various rock, funk, and jazz bands. In 2019, he played over 150 shows with over 20 different bands.
As both a composer and artist, Harland has been featured on several albums both under his own name and as a side-man. Most recently, in March 2020, Harland recorded drums on The Good Vibes Band's debut album, Midnight Lover - which is to be released in the summer of 2020.
